Hardcover, very good. Corners bumped, an approximately 2 inch tear on top edge of front board, with cardboard exposed there, dust mottling on top edge of textblock, a bit of shallow scrapping on lower edge, touch of foxing, otherwise tight, clean, paper crisp, unmarked. A common title, but an uncommon signature of this prolific author. Children's; history; patriotism; autograph.
