Binding is tight & square, no cracking. Pages and edges are clean. Endpapers are clean except for light offset (shadow) from dustjacket flaps and very small star (size of pencil eraser head) ink-stamped on front fixed endpaper. 255 pgs. Dustjacket is not price clipped (2.50 on front inside flap), has a few very short closed edge tears, a few very tiny edge chips (grain of rice in size), same small star stamp on front inside flap. Enclosed in new archival quality mylar cover. "Fred and Martha Robinson were driving to New York with their maid Nora McCluny and Nora's son Osgood when the Great Storm of the 1950s passed over Westchester County in a series of flashes and explosions.
