Very Good condition book in an about Good condition dustjacket with small book store sticker on inside back free end paper, some browning to edges of interior pages, brown spotting to covers, chips, tears, rubs and creases around its edges. No statement of later printing on copyright page.
VeryGood unmarked but for pencil inscription. Sepia photos and descriptions of the missions in the 1920s. 1925 pencil inscription on title page can be easily erased if desired. Solid clean tight copy of scarce 1st printing. 4-3/4 x 6-1/2, 64 pp, sepia photos, front enddpapers map.
Very Good + in Good jacket. First edition, hardcover, has penciled note to bottom interior corner of last free endpage, very slight bumps to spine ends and corners, and light reading crease near outeredge of some pages of text block, otherwise a solid, clean VG+ copy in Good dustjacket which has bumps with small chips to spine ends and corners, edgewear with closed tears, and rubbing.
