Acceptable/read description. Folding frontispiece map sound and clean except for a tear/slit from bottom fold attaching it to book approx. 8cm. Slit approx. 5cm to rear end paper and a few pencil annotations on endp aper. Strings slightly stretched on one joint but holding soundly. Paper very slightly browning and some dust marking to page edges. The cover is hard card boards worn esp. at edges and corners. Cream card spine cracked and a section appox..4cm x 1cm missing. Basically a sound hardback with a sound but worn appearance cover-see image from Winghale Books (Books are sent securely packaged in cardboard) A general itinerary of England and Wales, with part of Scotland: containing all the direct, and principal cross roads to every city and market town...arranged on a new plan...with three copious indexes...To which are added several useful tables.
