Very Good in Fair jacket. FRA 002841 CARP cloth hb, very good, hinges slightly exposed, pages yellowing/dj fair with chips, with a clear protective cover, a few closed tears and some soiling, binding is tight, pages a bit age toned. This novel shows the plight of France after the war, and stringently examines his countrymen's consciences., novel France WW I.

Pages crisp and clean except for a prior owner's name at the front free endpaper, a band of age-toning at the title page, and some toning at the hinges, front and back; binding is square and tight, hard cover only mildly rubbed at spine ends and heel edges. Jacket is priceclipped and bears toning at spine and edges, a little bluish smudging at the right front and three small, blue marks at the upper rear, and some chipping at corners and spine ends, otherwise excellent. 118pp.
